Ingredients
  

  • 8 ounce package cream cheese room temperature
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • ¼ cup chopped green onion
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Old Bay seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt*
  • 1 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ of a lemon juiced
  • 1 cup freshly shredded cheddar cheese divided
  • ½ teaspoon hot sauce or more, to taste
  • 1 pound fresh jumbo lump crab meat

Instructions
 

  • Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Mix Base Ingredients: In a mixing bowl, beat the room-temperature cream cheese until smooth. Stir in the mayonnaise, sour cream, minced garlic, chopped green onion, Old Bay seasoning, salt, Worcestershire sauce, and lemon juice until everything is well combined.
  • Add Cheese and Hot Sauce: Blend in ¾ cup of the shredded cheddar cheese and the hot sauce until the mixture is smooth.
  • Fold in Crab Meat: Gently fold in the fresh jumbo lump crab meat, ensuring it is evenly mixed throughout.
  • Prepare for Baking: Spread the crab mixture into a 9-inch pie dish or a similar-sized baking pan. Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese on top.
  • Bake Until Bubbly: Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
  • Serve Warm: Serve the dip warm with slices of sourdough bread, crackers, tortilla chips, or chopped cold veggies.
