Coconut and walnut oatmeal

I just thought I would share with you quickly this great addition I made to my oatmeal this morning. We usually have it before we go ski so nobody’s hungry for a while. But today, the reason was that I had nothing else to eat. 🙂

I added shredded organic coconut and some chia seeds to my oatmeal, and I let it rest for a good 5 minutes so the flavour would come out of the coconut. It was so good! And the walnuts added a nutty taste to it.

For the kids, I added organic dark chocolate chips so it made chocolate oatmeal. They loved it.
